Do you.

As a kid you always get told you can be anything you want too, when you grow up and then you, get stuck in school debt and a job you hate! That is most likely not the dream life you imagined as a kid. It is easy to get caught up in bill payments, day to day job tasks and adulting, I have found myself just wanting enough to be okay, but as I pondered on this thought today, I come to realize I want more then okay! I want to thrive, you see, I dont know about you, but I found myself wanting to impress those around me, more then myself, but I am beginning to see, if you are not happy, you must change it! I am realizing the less I care what others think of me or what a normal life should be, whatever that is, the more I want to dive into the deep end of life and just go for it!

If you hate your job, quit and get a new one you love, if you are around people who bring you down, find new people who life you up, if you hate where you live, move! Be smart about it, but forget what people may say or think and do what is best for you! God wants the best for you and not to settle for a mediocre life, life is short and I am sure on your death bed you will not regret doing what makes you happy. Everyone will always have an opinion if you are doing things outside of the box, but life is not made to be living in a box, break that box open and do ALL that you inspire too, forget what it may look like, forget about how hard it may be, what is truly harder is living an okay life with an okay job. If you have to be your biggest cheerleader, cheer yourself on. If you have too! Nobody can see your dreams how you see them, nobody is YOU and that is your power.

If everyone would just quit comparing to one another and start to enjoy the things you love, whether it is creating, cooking, writing, whatever it may be your life will expand! If you chase opportunities, opportunities will come! Life is a journey, it is a roller coaster ride, with ups and downs, but how incredibly short it is, is unreal. When I find myself feeling fearful over the future or over my current situations. I have to remind myself of the more challenging times and remember how far I have come. Do not forget to see the little victories because usually those ones turn into even bigger ones. The moral of this blog is try not to compare yourself and just do you (what I am learning myself)! Be who you are, do what you love and keep moving forward, no matter what challenges may come!
