God is good all the time, all the time he is good, a statement we here often in the church, but what about the times where you cannot sleep at night, when everything in your life is falling apart, a loved one dies, a diagnosis is made, a betrayal happens, what then.
Well... faith is believing for things not scene, & many of Jesus disciples faced hard times, some were even killed for their faith. So what is the purpose or the reward from God, when you believe in heaven, but you can still feel hell so well. This... As I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of DEATH I shall fear NO evil, for his rod and staff they COMFORT me. Notice the word, comfort and through, this means in life we may walk through the valley of death, but can be comforted in the midst of the aching torture of your soul, the deep pains of life. In fact where our world is going right now is nowhere good and there is darkness everywhere, left, right and center. So we should not be shocked that in these last days, darkness is getting thicker, but the blessing in this, is so is Gods mighty spirit.
John 11:35: Jesus wept. This means he knows our pain, he felt it, he sees, he feels it with you, when we weep, he weeps. Yes he can take the aching away, but sometimes for whatever reason, we face hard seasons and he allows us walk THROUGH it, through the valley, but the good news is, we do not walk it alone. A father loves his children and takes care of them, are you not an important child of God, YES, ALL people created on earth are, you simply choose if you want it or not! Mathew 6:26, Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? You are more valuable then the birds, then your worries, your fears, concerns. He knows them all because he knows your heart, thoughts, emotions, everything inside of you, your darkest memories and pains! God said to Samuel, Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have [a]refused him. For[b] the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.- 1 Samuel 16:7
When you are in a storm, a battle, or a confusing time of your life, he knows, he sees and he hears your prayers. It may feel sometimes as though he is rejecting you, or abandoning you, but he is way closer then you may think, because he knows everything! He is God, he knows your pain. As a child, you run into your dads arms when you are hurt, or in pain & that is who God is, the COMFORTER. The verse: But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 28 You heard me say to you, ‘I go away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. This verse says it all.
When you are in pain, run to him, he gets it. He is the only one who will get you, completely. Do not blame the one who can comfort you and answer your prayers. Call his name instead! He has GOT YOU IN HIS HANDS, DO NOT LET GO!
